Kat's final speech at the end of the play has been regarded by some as being sarcastic. She does not mean what she says but says it in order to win Petruchio and so live happily ever after. I however believe that she is sincere in her convictionsand that petruchio has suceeded completely in converting Kat from a shrew to a submissive quiet character. Anyone who has any views on this, or on any other aspect of the play, pleas e-mail me at the above address. Thank-you for your time.
